What you’ll do
As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our marketing strategies are efficiently executed and optimized for maximum impact. You will manage and enhance our marketing processes, analyze performance, and support data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in marketing technology, data analysis, and campaign operations will drive our success in the B2B IT sector. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales, and IT to ensure our tools, strategies, and tactics are aligned with our goals.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Automation & Technology: Manage marketing automation platforms (HubSpot) to streamline and optimize lead generation, nurturing, and scoring processes.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of marketing campaigns, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and on schedule. Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to create and launch multi-channel campaigns.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing/sales efforts, including campaign performance, lead generation, and conversion rates. Create dashboards and performance reports to support data-driven decisions.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine marketing processes for efficiency and scalability. Identify bottlenecks, automate routine tasks, and implement best practices in project management.
- Lead Management: Manage the lead flow process, from capturing leads to handoff to sales. Ensure leads are properly segmented, scored, and nurtured for optimal conversion.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage third-party marketing tools, platforms, and agencies. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in marketing technology and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration & Training: Serve as the key liaison between marketing and sales teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication. Provide training and support for team members on the use of marketing tools and platforms.
Required skills
- Experience: 2-4 years in Marketing Operations, preferably within a B2B software/IT company. Proven track record in managing and optimizing marketing automation platforms.
- Technical Skills: You enjoy building workflows and are proficient in CRM and marketing automation platforms (we use HubSpot for sales and marketing). Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and digital advertising platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing. Proficient in Google Sheets, data visualization tools, and creating performance dashboards.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com).
- Accurate: You are a precise worker and feel comfortable working methodically.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English. Ability to translate complex data and processes into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges and propose solutions. A proactive mindset to anticipate needs and suggest improvements.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
