What you’ll do

As a Product Marketing Manager, you play a critical role in building and maturing our product marketing capabilities. In this role, you help us hone our positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for the Rappit application development products, and our company offering.

You will report to the SVP of Product Marketing and work in an international environment, collaborating closely with Product Management (based in India), as well as the Marketing and Sales team across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling positioning, messaging, and narratives for business & IT personas that articulate differentiation and value.
  • Build and research our buyer and user personas, their specific needs, pain points, and goals that we can help address.
  • Work closely with product management to bring the voice of the market into the roadmap. Support product feature releases with value descriptions and supporting assets. Ensure product readiness.
  • Write and create compelling content including product collaterals, pitch decks, whitepapers, brochures, product sheets, blogs, website content, etc.
  • Partner with product management and sales teams to conduct win-loss analysis, develop sales enablement materials, battle cards, and competitive intelligence to drive customer conversations.
  • Shape content strategy and develop thought leadership messaging & assets including blogs. Scope and lead creation of impactful content assets mapped to the buying journey. Support webinars and events with subject matter expertise.
  • Partner with the Marketing team (Demand Generation Manager, Content Designer, Digital Marketeer) to inform campaign design and ensure that the campaigns are well connected, from initial messaging to the execution.
  • Identify market trends/opportunities and customer requirements by continuously monitoring, analyzing, creating, and sharing responses.
  • Research and support pricing and packaging decisions to meet market demands and needs.

Required skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years as a product marketer, in a software company, preferably in the enterprise B2B software market
    Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Fluency in English.
  • Ability to grasp both technical product capabilities and customer and business needs and translate these into highly relevant solutions and value-based messaging.
  • Team player with a “hands-on approach” and ability to work autonomously. Solution-oriented, with strong attention to detail and quality. Easily pushing deliverables from good to great.
  • Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, drive progress, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Curiosity, empathy, and customer-centricity to be a voice of the market.
  • Ability to balance the strategic and the tactical, in line with the fast-moving pace of Rappit, while investing in building longer-term impact.

Nice-to-have skills

  • Familiarity with the application development market.
  • Technology experience (e.g. product management, product owner, pre-sales).
  • Exposure to a start-up / scale-up environment where processes and practices were not yet established or mature, motivates you to help build this.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
