Rappit achieves SOC 2 Type II, strengthening secure enterprise services

Rappit, the enterprise software modernization company, today announced that it has undergone a compliance review for SOC 2 and received a SOC 2 Type II attestation over the last six months of 2024. This underlines Rappit’s commitment to the highest industry standards for data security and availability.
As enterprises consider where to run their business-critical systems and enterprise applications that manage sensitive personal data, they increasingly require software providers to help reduce risk by meeting security and compliance standards like SOC 2.
SOC 2 Type II attestation requires an independent audit to verify that rigorous safeguards are in place and effective. SOC 2 sets standards for the quality and reliability of controls relevant to data security, availability, confidentiality, privacy and the integrity the organization uses to process customer data. The Systems and Organization Controls (SOC) standards are governed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Hoek & Blok, a specialized Dutch accounting and auditing firm, conducted the SOC 2 Type II audit of Rappit, in accordance with AICPA protocols.

In addition, Rappit successfully completed the annual audit and renewal of its ISO 27001 certification, which ensures organizations meet international standards for products, services, and processes. To maintain ISO compliance, Rappit underwent an extensive company-wide audit. This included a review of the company’s quality management systems and documentation, information security posture and controls, operations, governance, risk, and compliance activities.
