Speakers
Ardjan Baan
Ardjan Baan bears overall responsibility for Rappit as Chief Executive Officer, driving the direction the company takes and leading its growth plans.
Ardjan has a background in marketing & sales operations and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
Paul Baan
Paul Baan has a broad experience of more than 25 years in different management and board positions within the Vanenburg organization. He bears financial overall responsibility for Rappit as Chief Financial Officer, with a focus on the financial and legal affairs of the company, and is the managing director of the total Vanenburg Group company. Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Bernhard Baan
Bernhard Baan manages the daily operations as Chief Operating Officer at Rappit, including customer related processes and supporting functions.
Bernhard has a background in marketing (holding an MSc. degree in Marketing from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam), and hospitality, (also bearing overall responsibility for Kasteel De Vanenburg, which is a hotel-, restaurant-, convention- and wedding venue, next to being the Vanenburg Group headquarters).
Huibert de Vries
Huibert de Vries is responsible for product marketing. Huibert holds a MSc. degree in Business administration from Rotterdam School of Management. He spent over 12 years in marketing, sales, program management and business development roles at a multinational before joining Rappit. Being co-author of a book about Open Source software, Huibert is passionate about creating business impact with innovative and meaningful software.
Julian Baan
Julian Baan leads the design efforts at Rappit as Head of Design, overseeing the visual direction of our product suite, and customer projects, and supporting marketing and sales initiatives. With a strong commitment to building a cohesive and innovative design team, Julian ensures that all design work at Rappit maintains consistency and aligns with our vision, ultimately driving the company’s success.
Julian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts. He has extensive experience in the design industry, previously working as a Designer at Silo before joining Rappit in 2022.
Magesh Sahasranamam
Magesh Sahasranamam is General Manager in India and has demonstrated experience in IT products, IT services, ITES, and start-up environments. He is skilled in Talent acquisition, campus hiring, volume hiring, and Just-in-time hiring. HR consulting experience for incubation setups/start-ups. Proven experience in compensation & benefits management, statutory compliance, talent management, and Retention.
Jan Baan
Jan Baan has over 45 years of entrepreneurial and business leadership experience in the software industry. Internationally recognized for his key role in creating the worldwide market for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Jan is a self-made serial entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Jan founded Baan Company in 1978, soon after attending Business College. With the development of his first software package in 1979, Jan started what was to become a pioneering career in the IT industry around Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Under Jan’s stewardship, Baan Company grew from a $35 million company in the early 1990s to $680 million in 1998. Baan became the number 2 ERP player in the software industry.
In the late 1990s, Jan became a highly successful venture capitalist by focusing on software innovation. He was an early investor in the on-demand collaborative software company WebEx Communications, later on acquired by Cisco Systems for $3 billion, as well as an early backer of Top Tier, which was subsequently sold to SAP for $400 million.
In 2001, Jan founded Cordys with a mission to solve the IT implementation and change issues faced by today’s extended enterprise by enabling an organization to be more responsive to changing business conditions.Customers leveraging the benefits of their software included the Dutch Ministry of Defence, Siemens, Mercer, Pacific Blue Cross and Tata Steel.In 2013, Cordys was acquired by OpenText, the leader in Enterprise Information Management, and is now the corner-stone for its long-term strategy.
Brigitte Janssen
Brigitte Janssen is a senior energetic business leader with over 20 years of marketing experience in creating markets, increasing brand awareness, and revenue growth at (international) ICT corporate organizations (B2B).
Christo Saayman
Christo Saayman is a results-oriented Delivery Director with over 15 years of experience in operations, currently driving delivery excellence at Vanenburg in the Netherlands. He thrives on the challenge of streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring successful project delivery.
